This year’s Season Closer was our biggest Cars and Coffee yet. We closed the road directly in front of Sherwood Motorcars once again, giving us the space to welcome even more show vehicles, spectators, and energy for one final send-off to the season.
The Rev Contest Returns
The crowd-favourite Rev Contest was back to close out the year — competitors lined up to deliver the most exhilarating engine notes, and the crowd brought everything they had. From guttural V8s to screaming turbos, the street became a stage.
Sherwood Customs on the Lot
The Sherwood Customs team was on hand showcasing their latest builds and connecting with the community. A reminder that the passion for great vehicles doesn’t stop at stock.
In Support of Sport Central
For the second time this season, guests were encouraged to bring donations of sports equipment in support of Sport Central — helping local kids access sport and recreation opportunities across the community. The response was incredible.
A Season to Remember
From the Season Opener in May to this September closer, 2026 has been the strongest year Cars and Coffee has ever had. Packed streets, a road closure, a roaring Rev Contest, and a community that keeps showing up. We’ll see you next season.
The 10 Year Diamond Anniversary of First Response to Fashion brought together frontline workers, supporters, and members of the community for an unforgettable evening in support of PTSD therapy and research.
A Night to Remember
Hosted at Sherwood Motorcars, guests enjoyed a red carpet experience complete with appetizers, drinks, live auction items, designer runway shows, and an incredible atmosphere throughout the night.
Supporting Our Frontline Workers
The event helped raise awareness and support for PTSD research and treatment initiatives, while giving guests the opportunity to hear powerful stories from frontline workers and members of the University of Alberta PTSD research team.
Community, Connection, and Celebration
From the runway shows to the after party, the evening was a celebration of the people who serve our communities every day and the ongoing efforts to support their mental health and wellbeing.
At Sherwood Motorcars, we’re proud to support Highway to Healing, a meaningful community event focused on raising funds and awareness for mental health initiatives. In collaboration with the Mental Health Foundation, the event brought together automotive passion and purpose to support vulnerable populations, with a open discussion from panelists who have faced addiction and mental illness first hand. All proceeds from the event went directly toward expanding access and awareness to critical mental health services in our community.
