Cars & Coffee at Sherwood Motorcars was born from a simple idea — bring the community together around the cars they love. What started as a casual morning gathering quickly took on a life of its own. The very first Season Opener drew more cars and more people than anyone expected, and the Burnout Contest that closed it out set the tone for everything that followed: loud, raw, and unapologetically passionate.
We took the excitement to RAD Torque Raceway for high-speed thrills on a proper circuit. Our community brought their finest machines for a day of unrestricted performance — proving that the Cars & Coffee spirit isn’t confined to a parking lot.
A new era launches at the 2025 Season Opener. The Rev Contest takes centre stage for the first time — head-to-head engine battles where crowd energy decides the champion. The format immediately captures something the community didn’t know it was waiting for.
The format returns for the Season Closer and surpasses every expectation. From V8 growls to twin-turbo screamers, the tarmac becomes a stage for the most exhilarating engine symphonies Alberta has ever heard.
The 2026 season marked a turning point. Attendance grew beyond what the lot could hold — so we took over the street. A full road closure brought a new scale to the event, with cars lining the block and the crowd energy matching every rev. What began as a gathering has become a landmark moment on Alberta’s automotive calendar.
