More than $35,000 has been invested on top of the original purchase price, all aimed at creating a superior driving experience.The performance components for this car were developed in partnership with AFE Engineering, as part of the launch of their AFE Control line of high-end suspension components, led by noted Corvette performance engineer and multi-record holder, Aaron Pfadt. During this process, the car received the full compliment of components from AFE Control, including adjustable monoball featherweight billet coil-overs front and rear, replacing the factory leaf springs, hollow, adjustable sway bars and stainless toe-links.In addition, Hand TIG welded, 304 Stainless Tri-Y Long-tube headers, race mid-pipe and AFE Carbon tipped active (factory NPP) over axle exhaust, giving the car a thunderous exhaust note. An AFE cold air intake finishes off the performance package; all adding meaningful horsepower, while leaving the main engine components untouched. The car has been further upgraded for reliability by the addition of a complete Z06 Cooling system and grille, ensuring that temperatures stay cool even in the hottest of conditions.These parts were not just bolted on, but the overall handling and performance of the car were tuned by Aaron Pfadt and the team at AFE. Although the handling of the stock C7 Corvette has been widely praised, this car is on another level altogether, its lively nature creating a great driving experience at both low and high speeds.Finishing touches include a function splitter, side sill and diffuser kit, also developed on this car by CRZY ENG engineering. Lastly are a set of bronze forged FF15 Wheels from HRE, with oversized 19 and 20 inch staggered fitment. This car was the first C7 Corvette fitted with these wheels from HRE, and photos of the car are still shown on the HRE website as an example of the fitment.Besides the extensive upgrades, this Corvette features lots of luxury appointments, its Adrenaline Red interior making a perfect compliment to the black paint. Carbon Dash, Navigation, Heated and Cooled seats, Heads up display, and a removeable Targa roof.
