Under the hood, a 350 Cubic Inch Engine rebuilt and upgraded with new carb, electronic ignition and a great performance camshaft, deliver the horses to a TH350 Automatic Transmission. The gorgeous orange seat inserts are a show stopper, perfectly complimenting the exterior paint. A 2 inch cowl induction hood finishes off the look, and the stance is perfect on 20 inch wheels. The steering is sharp, with nice feel through steering wheel. The steering box is quick enough and there's little slop; strong disc brakes up front work well with lots of confident, straight stops. What really separates this GMC from some of the other muscle machines we've driven is the lowered and upgraded suspension. The ride is smooth but controlled, not floaty or crashy, and despite the heft of the whole package, it stays put when you turn some corners. This GMC has been the subject of a lengthy restoration and it shows.
