Nut & Bolt Restoration | Rebuilt V12 Engine | Extensive Documentation**No Canadian Luxury Tax**This special car features the ultimate development of the legendary Columbo V12 Engine. A handbuilt car, with a body painstakingly coach built by the masters at Pininfarina, this car combines itsunderstated style with incredible fit, finish, luxury and power. This car was the personal project of the former decades-long Ferrari dealer here in Alberta, and thisalready great car was treated to a comprehensive, bare-metal restoration. Hundreds of photos anddocuments accompany this very special car. The bodywork was performed by factory-trained technicians, as was the engine rebuild, wiringharness upgrades, and many other parts of this restoration. The body was taken down to bare-metal before paint, and all original body panels remain intact, with their factory 312 serialnumbers. The mighty Columbo V12 has been treated to a major overhaul, including upgraded forged pistonsand reground sport cams. The Six Webbers are properly tuned and combined with the ceramic-coated factory exhaust sound as wonderful as you would expect. Other upgrades include allstainless steel valves and an electronic ignition conversion. The entire wiring harness was replaced with a factory new one, and the fuse blocks have beenupgraded to accept modern ATO fuses. Air Conditioning has been rebuilt and upgraded to modernR134 refrigerant, with all-new, compatible Parker hoses installed. The TH400 transmission has alsobeen rebuilt and upgraded, and is ready for many more miles of driving. The car rides on beautiful BBS 3 piece forged wheels, with Michelin tires. The restored Konisuspension works as it was intended from the factory, including the Koni self-leveling rearsuspension. The interior features Recarco seats and Navy blue Connolly leather that still smells as good as theday it was new. A period Alpine stereo with trunk mounted amplifiers suits this Grand Tourerperfectly. Extensive documentation and photos demonstrate the quality of this painstaking restoration, andunderscore the provenance of this well loved and maintained car.
